Sam Worthington Shirtless, Young, Awards, and Wife. Today in Hot Aussie Hunks, we bring you Sam Worthington who happens to be our first ever Aussie Imaginary Boyfriend. Haha. Seriously, we fell in “love” with him back when we watched him in the 2009 movie Avatar. Seriously, we watched that movie three times in the theater not only because it was the first time a 3D movie was ever shown but also because Sam — who played the main character Jake Sully — was every inch a cutie patootie!

We were convinced then that he would skyrocket to the Hollywood A-List but, for some reason, it didn’t happen. Still, our Aussie hunk has managed to build a career for himself in Hollywood — to date he starred in a total of 61 movies and TV shows — and he will be appearing in the upcoming Avatar sequels so, who knows, that A-List is still within reach.

So how’s Basshunter aka our First Ever Imaginary Swedish Boyfriend doing these days? Well, we are happy to note that he is still active in the biz. In fact, he just finished a UK Tour according to his Insta (follow him @basshunter_se) and will be performing in the Back 2 Festival in Derbyshire this coming June/July. Gael Monfils Wedding Update. Hey fellow TennisWatchers, did you know that Gael Monfils aka our Favorite French Tennis Player got himself hitched last year? While we here at Famewatcher were “busy” moping at home because of the pandemic, Gael and now-wife Elina Svitolina got busy getting engaged (on April 2021) and getting married (on 16 July 2021). We are so happy for them and belated congratulations to the couple!

Like Gael, Elina Svitolina is also a very accomplished tennis player and she actually has more career titles than her hubby (16 vs. Gael’s 11). They are equal though in terms of semifinal appearances in Grand Slam events; it’s Wimbledon and the US Open for Elina and French and the US Opens for her hubby. Excellent accomplishments, huh? Can you imagine the tennis genes that their children will have!

Garrett Hedlund Shirtless Update. Hey, fellow Famewatchers, did you know that Garrett is now a daddy? Apparently, he and then-girlfriend Emma Roberts had a baby last December 2020 whom they named Rhodes Robert Hedlund.

On the career front, the now 37-year-old actor continues to be busy having starred in 12 movies and TV shows since we last blogged about him in 2017. Oh, he’s got himself some acting awards too. Specifically, he and his fellow cast-mates brought home four acting trophies for their performance in the 2017 movie Mudbound. Here are some pics of the actor and his co-stars from the Independent Spirit Awards and from the Hollywood Film Awards.

James Haskell Shirtless, Underwear, MMA Career Update. Updating this post to note that, apparently, James’ ready-to-bloom MMA career never really took off because of COVID. Damn you, COVID-19! His first MMA fight was scheduled last May 2020 at the Wembley Arena but it was postponed because of the pandemic. Then he underwent surgery for his spinal chord in September 2021 which put an end to his MMA plans.

Here’s what he says about his surgery (via BBC Sports): “I spent a year preparing for it (MMA fight) and Covid got in the way, then I had a major problem with my spine. I had to have part of a disc removed which was crushing my spinal chord. But, having had that sort of scare, I’m not sure I need to add to what I already have with my body – arthritis in my ankle and various other issues.”
