We mentioned him on our post on Jacob Anderson but we know you are thirsty for more vampires so let’s talk about Sam Reid (aka Jacob’s onscreen partner Lestat de Lioncourt) shall we? Of course, we begin our talk with these shirtless and underwear photos of the actor because why not? Hehe.

Sam Reid Gay or Girlfriend? He may be playing an LGBT character on Interview With The Vampire but Sam is as straight as they come and is reportedly dating girlfriend Philippa Northeast. Like her beau, Philippa is an Aussie and is also in the acting biz. Sam and Philippa actually co-starred in an Australian TV show called The Newsreader where Sam plays another LGBT role who get it on with Chai Hansen. Anyhoo, here’s Sam with his real life partner as well as his reel partners, i.e., Philippa Northeast, Jacob Anderson, and Chai Hansen.

Sam Reid Awards. Our Aussie cutie is a pretty good actor but award-giving bodies have not been paying attention. Well, they kinda gave him attention by nominating him but they still have to award him with acting trophies. Nonetheless it is worth noting that Sam won twice at the Equity Ensemble Awards, first as a part of the cast for the TV show The Hunting and second as a member of the emsemble for The Newsreader. We are keeping our fingers crossed that more award-giving bodies will recognize his talent in the coming years.
