The trailer for the show looks interesting and we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will be excellent like Umbrella Academy which we really loved and not like Daybreak which we were really excited about but still have to finish watching because we just ain’t feeling it. Sorry, Austin Crute and Colin Ford, we loved you and your characters but we just don’t know what to make of your show.

Now, we haven’t actually watched Sugar Rush yet but we “discovered” Hunter when he paired up with Nicole Byer, who hosts our favorite Netflix reality show Nailed it, for a holiday mash-up of the two baking shows which they named Sleighed It . We soon found out that his name is Josh Segarra and that we’d have known him earlier if we only continued watching Orange is the New Black. We stopped bingeing on season 5 but always plan to go back watching it again. Now, aside from OINTB, our Joshie has starred in several TV and movie projects the most interesting of which, at least for the THOTs and hos among us Famewatchers, is the TV series Sirens on the USA Network.

Says the Tunisian actor of the role he will be playing — a Syrian refugee named Samir — and how he prepared to embody the character: “He’s a very touching character living in dire conditions. I felt a big responsibility taking on the role. It wasn’t easy for me to prepare – for starters, I had to lose 18 kilos.I watched documentaries about refugee camps and also made friends with a lot of Palestinians who really helped me with their accounts of what they had been through.” (via screendaily.com).
