You gotta give them props for their enduring relationship — they were high school sweethearts — specially because they are part of the entertainment biz where relationships are akin to a game of musical chairs.

Blancpain Brand Ambassadors and Celebrity Fans. About ten years later, we are updating this post to note that, apparently, Blancpain does not call its brand ambassadors as such. Instead, it calls them “circle of friends”. This information tidbit is from worldtempus.com which knows way more about watches than we do.

Anyhoo, the renowned Swiss watchmaker has been adding to its list of “circle of friends” and this includes French marine biologist Laurent Ballesta. According to the Blancpain website, it is supporting Ballesta’s Gombessa V Expedition which seeks to “study, photograph, and present to the public little known areas in the Mediterranean Sea”.

Michael Ballack Update: What is He Doing Now? We are updating this post to note that our German hunk has retired from the beautiful game eight years ago in June 2013. He also got divorced from wife Simone Lambe in 2012 and reportedly dated Natacha Tannous from 2015 to 2019.

So what has he been doing since he retired? According to premiereleagueheroes.com, the three-time German Footballer of the Year has gone on to become a studio analyst for renowned sports channels such as ESPN, Sky Sports, BBC Sports, and BT Sports.
