Tom Sturridge Shirtless, Underwear, Girlfriend. We can’t count the number of Netflix shows we hope will do great — both in terms of quality and viewer reception — but ended up very disappointed. The latest one would be Resident Evil which we stopped watching because the main female characters were annoying us to death particularly the girl who was openly disrespectful to her dad. We thought we’d go back to it but, after reading the reviews and its dismal Rotten Tomatoes score of 52%, we now think it was the right decision to stop watching. A meh show deserves a meh response!

Anyhoo, we’re saying these things because we are hoping that The Sandman, an upcoming series on the streamer starring Tom Sturridge, will be a great one and not one that is average or, worse, forgettable. He is 23 years old. And he will be playing John Winchester in The Winchesters aka the prequel of Supernatural on The CW. Oh, and our imaginary beau Jensen Ackles — who is one of the producers of the show — will star on the show too.

The Winchesters will be Drake’s biggest acting gig to date and he’s very lucky to have snagged a very meaty role considering that, apparently, per his IMDB profile, he only started in the biz in 2020. His other acting credits include the TV movie Murder RX (which you can catch on Amazon Prime), the horror thriller Not Alone, and an upcoming drama called Quiet In My Town about god and football.

Iwan Rheon Shirtless, Girlfriend, and Awards Update. So, hows one of our favorite Welsh actors doing these days? Well, we are happy to report that he continues to be booked and busy. He is starring in a Welsh-language crime drama called Y Golau which you can watch on BBC iPlayer, Channel 4, and Sundance Now. He will also star in an upcoming German film called The Magic Flute which is based on the opera by Mozart.

By the way, did you know that he won the 2016 Georges Award which, per IMDB, is given by the Russian National Movie Awards for the Best Foreign Villain of the Year. Yay! Well deserved! He won it, of course, for Game of Thrones. Oh, and he also won a Laurence Olivier which is the most prestigious award in theater. Specifically, he bagged the trophy for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for the original London production of Spring Awakening.
