Tom Sturridge Shirtless, Underwear, Girlfriend. We can’t count the number of Netflix shows we hope will do great — both in terms of quality and viewer reception — but ended up very disappointed. The latest one would be Resident Evil which we stopped watching because the main female characters were annoying us to death particularly the girl who was openly disrespectful to her dad. We thought we’d go back to it but, after reading the reviews and its dismal Rotten Tomatoes score of 52%, we now think it was the right decision to stop watching. A meh show deserves a meh response!

Anyhoo, we’re saying these things because we are hoping that The Sandman, an upcoming series on the streamer starring Tom Sturridge, will be a great one and not one that is average or, worse, forgettable. But enough with our complaining! We’re here to talk about Tom and ogle at his shirtless and underwear pics. Hehe.

Tom Sturridge Gay or Straight? He is straight and is reportedly dating Maya Hawke whose popularity as an actress was catapulted to the heavens by another Netflix show, Stranger Things. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that The Sandman will do the same for the British actor.

Though he is straight in real life, Tom has played LGBT characters and has gone kissy kissy with some really hot actors like Douglas Booth in Mary Shelley as well as Sam Riley and Garrett Hedlund in On the Road.

Apparently, he is pals with Spiderman actors Andrew Garfield and Jake Gyllenhaal who was his costar in the Broadway play Sea Wall/A Life.

The Sandman will be Tom’s biggest acting project and you can’t go bigger than this because he is playing the titular main character too. To date, he starred in a total of 27 movies and TV shows including Sweet Biter, Velvet Buzzsaw (which also starred Gyllenhaal), and the 2015 mystery drama Remainder which earned him an acting nomination from the UK National Film Awards.
