Iwan Rheon Shirtless, Girlfriend, and Awards Update. So, hows one of our favorite Welsh actors doing these days? Well, we are happy to report that he continues to be booked and busy. He is starring in a Welsh-language crime drama called Y Golau which you can watch on BBC iPlayer, Channel 4, and Sundance Now. He will also star in an upcoming German film called The Magic Flute which is based on the opera by Mozart.

By the way, did you know that he won the 2016 Georges Award which, per IMDB, is given by the Russian National Movie Awards for the Best Foreign Villain of the Year. Yay! Well deserved! He won it, of course, for Game of Thrones. Oh, and he also won a Laurence Olivier which is the most prestigious award in theater. Specifically, he bagged the trophy for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for the original London production of Spring Awakening. Here’s Iwan celebrating with co-star Aneurin Barnard who, for his part, won as Best Actor for the same musical.

Amelia is a bodybuilder and, according to Hello Magazine, the lovebirds met in a gym. Says Olly of their very first meeting which he characterizes as a date, “My first date with Amelia was actually in a gym – sad I know, but that’s genuinely where we met. I got chatting to her in the middle of a group workout session and offered to drive her home – smooth I know!”
