From the Chicago Breaking News: “The pastor of Willow Creek Chicago — the city campus of the evangelical megachurch Willow Creek Community Church — has resigned and admitted to “sexual impurity,” a church spokesman said.
The pastor, Rev. Steve Wu, could not be reached, and the church would specify what took place.”

Kimo Leopoldo Arrested, Shirtless, Beefy Muscle Santa. Uh. Uh. What’s happening to them MMA fighters? Just a few days ago we have War Machine getting himself arrested following a brawl in a gay bar. Now, we have legendary MMA fighter Kimo Leopoldo getting himself arrested for meth possession?

TMZ has the dish: “TMZ has learned the famously tatted MMA badboy was arrested by Tustin police Monday afternoon after they spotted the 6’3”, 235 lb fighter wearing a Long Beach Police Dept. jumpsuit, complete with patches and a cloth badge — a badge only cops are allowed to wear. The officers — the real officers — then searched Kimo’s ride, where they claim to have found “a small amount of what is believed to be meth.”

UPDATE, 27 July 2009: Is Kimo Leopoldo Dead? Nah, some media sources ranging from gossip site TMZ, to the tabloid New York Daily News, to the broadsheet USA Today reported that he died of heart attack complications this week but he’s actually very much alive. Apparently, the media took their cue from unreliable gossip sites and ran on with the “Kim Leopoldo is dead” story which turned out to false.

Ron Strykert of the Australian band, Men at Work, has been arrested by the Los Angeles police and is currently being held in jail for allegedly making criminal threats. The object of his wrath? Someone who lives in his former home in Hollywood. Bond has been set at $50,000 according to TMZ.

Salma Hayek Francois-Henri Pinault Got Married! Congratulations to Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault on their wedding. According to a Daily Mail report, Selma and Francois got married in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondiseement, which is owned by the groom’s family, in the St. Germain area of Paris. The wedding was held last 14 February, Valentines Day, which clearly has a special significance for the couple. Their 17-month-old daughter is named Valentina.

The Daily Mail reports on the Salma-Francois wedding: “News of their marriage comes as a surprise after they publicly announced the end of their engagement last July. The couple blamed the long-distance between them – Salma spends most of the year in Los Angeles because of her acting career, while Francois-Henri is based in Paris. The couple met in Venice in May 2006, and after a low-key courtship, announced they were getting married and having a child together the following year.”
We love us our Salma Hayek, partly because she breastfed a hungry baby not her own, and we love the people she loves and who loves her in return. Which means that we also love us our Francois-Henri Pinault. Salma, by the way is 42 years old while her billionaire husband is 46.
