Is Mark Kanemura Gay? He Confirms He is! See! Our wild and playful guessing below is correct. In a June 2011 interview with Out Magazine, Mark reveals that he’s always been a part of the LGBT community. Also, like Adam Lambert of American Idol, he did not come out of the closet because he was never “in” in the first place.
He says: “I feel like I’ve always been open about it. I don’t go around announcing it to the world, but I don’t hide anything… I think that it’s not something I have to say or announce, necessarily. I am living a life that I want to be living right now, and I’m not hiding in any way. It’s really nice for me to be able to be open and honest.”
