Salma Hayek Francois-Henri Pinault Got Married! Congratulations to Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault on their wedding. According to a Daily Mail report, Selma and Francois got married in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondiseement, which is owned by the groom’s family, in the St. Germain area of Paris. The wedding was held last 14 February, Valentines Day, which clearly has a special significance for the couple. Their 17-month-old daughter is named Valentina.

The Daily Mail reports on the Salma-Francois wedding: “News of their marriage comes as a surprise after they publicly announced the end of their engagement last July. The couple blamed the long-distance between them – Salma spends most of the year in Los Angeles because of her acting career, while Francois-Henri is based in Paris. The couple met in Venice in May 2006, and after a low-key courtship, announced they were getting married and having a child together the following year.”
We love us our Salma Hayek, partly because she breastfed a hungry baby not her own, and we love the people she loves and who loves her in return. Which means that we also love us our Francois-Henri Pinault. Salma, by the way is 42 years old while her billionaire husband is 46.

Is Danny Gokey’s Church a Cult?

Uh. Uh. From a former member of the Faith Builders International Ministry, the church that American Idol contestant Danny Gokey belongs to:

My experience with Faith Builders is the closest thing I hope to ever experience to a cult. The same brainwashing techniques that are used in cults are used at Faith Builders. I do not think that most of the members have bad intent, it just happens one way or another.

After I left, I was informed that the building in Beloit is literally falling apart, but money will not be raised to fix the roof, and the building in Milwaukee has to be paid for. For a ministry that was started 20 years ago to help an area that was ‘forsaken’ (as Jerry Pruitt had stated in his vision statement), only one person who started with the church remains in the ministries. With the almost 10,000 people who have at one time called this church home, only having one person being in attendance during the lifetime of the church speaks for itself.

The same person alleges that the pastor of the church, who appears to be practitioner of the prosperity gospel, is driving around town showing off his Escalade paid for by his congregation.

Blake Harper aka Peter Tiefenbach is Now a Nurse? Is chest hair back? We think so. Male celebrities should ditch all that manscaping and follow the example of our dude of the day, Blake Harper, who is proudly sporting an unshaved, unwaxed, un-manscaped chest and abs. If that ain’t gorgeous and manly, we don’t know what is. Oh, in case you our wondering, our Blake is from Canada so let’s include him to our list of totally gorgeous Canadian hunks.

So what is Blake up to these days? Well, according to his wikipedia page, he is working as a nurse at a hospital in Windsor, Ontario in Canada. Pretty cool change of profession from modeling, huh? But this info that Blake is now a nurse is dated (2007) so take it with a grain of salt.
