MMA Underwear: Your Favorite MMA Fighters’ Favorite Brands. Do mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters wear underwear under their fight shorts? Is there a special kind of underwear specifically designed for MMA practitioners or will any underwear do? And, finally, what kind of underwear does your favorite MMA fighter wear outside the octagon?

The answer to the above questions according to our friend Michael who is an avid MMA fan: 1) Yes the fighters wear underwear during their fights, 2) compression underwear or these workout underwear is the best, and 3) depends on who your favorite MMA fighter is.

We did a little digging to find out the MMA underwear that your favorite fighter loves and the following list is what we came up with. We’re assuming here that these are their favorite brand because why else would they be wearing them during their weigh-ins.

Brian Stann Shirtless and Underwear: Ex-Marine Turned MMA Fighter. We were channel surfing last week when we came across the fight between the great Wanderlei Silva and Brian Stann. Of course, we Famewatchers know who Wanderlei is because he is a living legend in MMA (mixed martial arts).

On the other hand, since we have not been paying attention to MMA, these past few years we were clueless as to who Brian Stann is. We later found out that he is an ex-marine, an Iraq War veteran, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, and a Silver Star awardee. Want more hot men in uniform?

Look who’s gotten himself a lead role in a Hollywood movie? It’s stuntman Alain Moussi! He will be the lead actor in the remake of Jean Claude Van Damme’s Kickboxer, a movie released back in 1989. More about Alain’s casting from hollywood.com:

Stuntman and martial arts star Alain Moussi has landed the lead role in the remake of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s 1989 film Kickboxer. Moussi, who has worked on several movies, including White House Down and X-Men: Days of Future Past, will star alongside Ultimate Fighting champion Georges St. Pierre and World Wrestling Entertainment star David Bautista in his first leading role. The film, which will be directed by Stephen Fung, will centre on a karate champion who travels to Hong Kong to train with his former mentor in a bid to avenge his brother’s death.
