Rafael L. Silva Update. Five years later, we are updating this post to note that 911 Lone Star is no more. The series ended in February this year after airing for five cool seasons. Bad news because there’s no more Rafael and his onscreen boyfriend Ronen Rubinstein.
Now, the good news is that our Rafa has got himself a new gig on The Waterfront which premiered last 19 January on Netflix and where he’s playing Shawn Wilson, a bartender with an intriguing background.

This was one of the question when we first blogged about him and there is no doubt that he has established himself as one of the greatest football players of the world. And he’s making a lot of dough in the process too. This year aka 2022, Forbes Magazine placed him as the 4th highest paid athlete and he is reported to have made USD70 million on-field and USD25 million off-field.
On the underwear front, the global superstar looks like he ditched Lupo underwear because he inked a deal with Superdry.

Now, did you know that our Brazilian hottie is now a daddy? By this, we mean he is a literal father as he and his partner Mel Fronckowiak welcomed their daughter back in May 2017. Jon-Michael Ecker Shirtless, Underwear, Girlfriend. So we were, like, scrolling down our Instagram feed and came across this photo of a guy rocking his jeans and sweater ensemble and we were like, “Hmm. Who’s that zaddy? We bet he’s hiding some well-defined bod inside them sweaters!”
Turns out his name is Jon-Michael Ecker. He’s a 38-year-old actor from good old Texas. And he is starring in a Hallmark movie called Gingerbread Miracle about a guy named Alex (played by our Jon) and an old high school friend named Maya (played by actress Merritt Patterson) team up to “try to sell his uncle’s business — a Mexican bakery that’s famous for magical gingerbread cookies that grant wishes”.
