Neymar Underwear Update 2017. In this update, we answer the question we asked back in 2013 on whether Neymar is the next big Brazilian football star. Well, the answer is easy. Currently, our Neymar is one of the biggest football stars in the world. He captained Brazil to its gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He’s got tons of sponsorship deals that earn him millions. And, at only 24 years old, he reportedly made 9.18 million euro in 2016 playing the game that he loves.

At a young age of 21, Brazilian football player Neymar (full name: Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior) is fast establishing himself as a contender to the “next Brazilian who will rock the football world”. SportsPro Magazine called him the “most marketable athlete in the world”. He is also highly rated by The Guardian in its list of the Best 100 Footballers ranking him at #13. Pretty cool achievements, huh?
Here’s what SportsPro editor David Cushnan say about the Santos Futebol Clube forward:
Neymar is very much the perfect storm: young, gifted and with an Olympics and a home World Cup on the horizon. He is already a superstar in Brazil, one of the world’s most robust economies and a vast market to boot. If you were a brand looking to make an impact in Brazil, he would certainly be the athlete you’d pick. Neymar is Brazil’s poster boy for its sporting decade.
A company which have predicted Neymar’s marketability and took advantage of it would be the Brazilian underwear brand Lupo which hired the football hunk as its celebrity model. Here are some photos of their collaboration:
Neymar sure is proud of his yellow boxer briefs. But, clearly, that’s not the only thing he can be proud of, eh?

Is he pointing at his toes? Or is that a dance move?
So which of the above Neymar underwear by Lupo is your favorite? Our pick would be the yellow one.
By the way, Neymar might be moving to Spain to play for Barcelona. From Inside Spanish Football:
Following months of rumours and speculation, it is being reported that Barcelona and Brazilian club, Santos have reached an agreement on the long-anticipated transfer of superstar forward, Neymar for a fee of €92 million.
According to Sky Italia, the two sides reached an agreement but have yet to determine if the forward will make his eagerly awaited move this summer of following the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, as was originally presumed. While the full details are still unknown at this time, Sky Italia were the ones to break the news of former Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola’s appointment as Bayern Munich manager, three days before the actual announcement.
If the information is correct, Barcelona will have paid the second highest transfer fee in football history, just after the €100 million Real Madrid paid to Manchester United for forward, Cristiano Ronaldo in 2007.
Earlier, Neymar stated that he had no preference on whether to sign with Barca or Real Madrid:
I don’t have any preference. Barcelona and Real Madrid are two great clubs, each one with their own history. Barcelona have scared everyone over the past few years with their football and are without doubt one of the best teams in the world. It is a dream to play in Europe. I don’t know when it will be. It is a decision that will be down to me and I will communicate it when I have decided.
