This post is for those of you who, like our niece Sheila as we mentioned in an earlier post, have a crush on Tyler Townsend on Sweet Magnolias. Tyler is played by 22-year-old Carson Rowland who apparently is a double threat in that he’s not only an actor but is a pretty good singer too.

In fact, he released a single two months ago which has to date has been viewed 1.5 million times. Check it out, it’s called Leave My Lonely Alone.

Syam Lafi Actor: Baseball Hunk Stars in HBO’s The Night Of

Syam Lafi Actor. Is Syam Lafi going to be the next big thing courtesy of HBO? We sure hope so! The former high school baseball player has been cast as one of the lead stars of an upcoming HBO series, The Night Of. You should check it out when it premieres this coming July.

Because Syam Lafi is a newbie in showbizlanda, there’s not a lot of info about him out there. For instance, does he have a girlfriend? Maybe he is dating? Also, what is his ethnic background? Is he of Indian or Arab descent? Neither? Maybe he is Persian-American, then? Thirdly, how good is his batting average? And, most of all, are there some Syam Lafi shirtless pics out there you can ogle at? Hehe.

Anyhoo, we gotta admit that we don’t have any answer to the above Qs. But here are some things we learned about the Hollywood newbie.

Some of the reviews are in for the Netflix series Never Have I Ever and it looks like the streaming giant and Mindy Kaling are going to have a hit in their hands. Currently, the show’s got a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes although this score is likely to drop as more reviewers come in.

Now, if reviews are not what makes you interested in watching a TV show, maybe these hot high school boys on the show will make you tune in.

Paxton Hall-Yoshida (played by Darren Barnet). We already blogged about him and we predicted that he’ll be one of the breakout stars mainly because of how fast he chucks off his shirt in the scene below.
