Male Body Shaping Underwear Update. Apparently, Spanx or the company which started the shapewear trend for modern times but which specifically focused on women has now expanded its product offerings to include Spanx for men.
A writer for GQ Magazine UK tried an ultra sculpt T-shirt to see how it works and discovered that “the intense restriction meant it wasn’t comfortable for long periods of time”. However, the effect was impressive — it took four centimetres off his waistline — and he does see himself using Spanx Sculpt shirts in the future.

Celebrities With Bad Breath (Updated from 2009). Ever been turned off by bad breath? Well, you are not alone. In fact, we can’t think of anyone who isn’t turned off by bad breath. The problem, of course, is that we can’t tell whether we ourselves have bad breath. So we don’t know whether a promising prospective date/spouse/partner is turning their backs on us because of our stinky breath.
Anyhoo, here’s a Star Magazine blind item about a celebrity who apparently needs some halitosis treatment: “Which hunky actor is a real stinker? His girlfriend has refused his kisses because of his seriously bad breath. Maybe that’s the reason they’re constantly on and off.”

Celebrities With Macular Degeneration. Macular degeneration is a disease that affects the macula destroys your ability to have a clear, sharp vision. Macula is the part of your eye that makes you see objects clearly and do things such as read, write, and drive. This condition may be age-related (in which case it goes by the acronym AMD or Age-related Macular Degeneration) and those aged 50 years old and above have a higher risk of developing the disease. Other risk factors include: smoking, race (Caucasians are more likely to have it than other races), and family history.
Exercise, maintaining a normal blood pressure as well as cholesterol level, and eating a healthy diet that consists of leafy vegetables and fish could help you combat the disease.

We decided to follow her advice not only because she will kick our ass if we don’t but also because, to our surprise, our post on Brody Jenner’s shower scene in Bromance generated lots of visitors. Let’s start with Jake Gyllenhaal, arguably the most talented actor of his generation. He should have been nominated for an Academy Award in Nightcrawler. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that he gets nominated for his boxing movie, Southpaw.

Joshua Boone Shirtless, Girlfriend, and A Jazzman’s Blues. Anyone of you looking forward to watching A Jazzman’s Blues on Netflix? Tyler Perry, who wrote and directed the movie, and Netflix are not exactly known for having high scores on Rotten Tomatoes but we are still cautiously optimistic that this will be an exception to their critically panned projects. We gotta say though that critics should sometimes take a chill pill because we love, love, loved A Madea Homecoming and nothing can dissuade us from watching it again.
But let’s get back to A Jazzman’s Blues, shall we? The upcoming movie — which will premiere this coming September at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) — stars Joshua Boone in the lead role opposite Solea Pfeiffer. Here’s a promotional pic from the movie with the two stars:
