Jonathan Bailey Shirtless, Underwear, Boyfriend (Updated). Aside from Rege-Jean Page, another British actor who will be starring in what may become one of Netflix’s biggest shows is Jonathan Bailey.

The 32-year-old hunky cutie will be playing the role of Anthony Bridgerton in the upcoming historical romance drama Bridgerton.

Fandom.com has some info on the character that Jonathan will portray on the show: “The quintessential English nobleman, Anthony is the eldest Bridgerton sibling and dutiful head of the family since assuming his late father’s title of Viscount. Endlessly handsome, charming and rich, he’s quite the catch on this year’s marriage mart. But if he has any hope of fulfilling his oftentimes overwhelming duty of marrying and producing an heir, Anthony must first learn to temper his pursuit of pleasure.”

To date, Jonathan has starred in 39 movies and television shows per IMDB. Aside from Bridgerton, these include the 2012 BBC One comedy Me and Mrs Jones where he dances in his boxer briefs underwear.

We also see him in various states of undress on the British sitcom Off the Hook.

Of course, it ain’t only about dropping trousers for our Jonathan. He appeared in serious projects as well such as Broadchurch which you should definitely check out because it is really, really good.

Jonathan Bailey Gay or Straight? Girlfriend or Boyfriend? He is gay. We do not know whether he is in a relationship at the moment but, in a 2018 interview with GSN News, he states that he’d like to get married some day:

I want to get married to someone who wants to get married to me. Not “I have to get married to validate my relationship.” I wouldn’t prioritise it. I would definitely like to be in a long-term relationship, and monogamous. I completely believe in that being something that, for me, is the ultimate value. But I can identify that’s different for other people.

Now, if Jonathan does not have a boyfriend, then who’s the guy beside him showing off an engagement ring? Ain’t that his fiance? Nah, that’s his co-star Alex Gaumond. They were indeed engaged but only for the 2018 stage play Company.
