Guess who may be about to hit it big on the American small screen? It’s American-born Hong Kong actor Daniel Wu who will be the lead star in the upcoming AMC TV series Into the Badlands. If the show becomes a ratings hit, expect Daniel’s Hollywood star to rise higher than where it is now.

So far, the reviews are mixed. Deadline’s Dominic Patten is love, love, loving the show:

Well, you’re in for a treat that night with the Daniel Wu-led martial arts series from Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Into The Badlands, as my video review above says, is a smoldering, serpentine and supremely stylized series that does the legacy of Bruce Lee proud.

Who knew The Wanted’s Jay McGuiness has mad dancing skills? We didn’t. Our friend Deena does not. And neither does our reality-TV watching pal Kevin. But Jay has turned out to be one of the favorites on the BBC dancing show, Strictly Come Dancing aka The Brit Version of Dancing With the Stars.

So don’t be surprised if Jay ends up winning the Strictly glitterball trophy when the show airs its final episode. By the way, for those of you who don’t know, the Strictly trophy is just as ridiculous-looking as the DWTS trophy. Hehe.

Alek Skarlatos Shirtless: Gay or Girlfriend? DWTS Army Hunk

Let’s add Alek Skarlatos to our list of DWTS hunks! For those of you who have been living under a rock, Alek is one of several guys who recently prevented a terrorist attack inside a Parisian train. More about Alek from ABC:

Alek became a worldwide hero in August when he helped avert a massacre aboard a Belgian train. While on vacation after a deployment in Afghanistan, the 22 year-old sprang into action when an armed attacker began shooting on the train.
Alek and two of his friends, Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone and student Anthony Sadler, disarmed and subdued the attacker, who was armed with guns and a box cutter. The California native is an avid painter and military history buff. In between National Guard deployments, Alek studies at a local community college and plans to enter the police force.
