Here’s what Sam is saying about his weight loss on his Instagram account:

Because our friend Deena is a skeptic, she tells us that the first thing she thought about when she heard about Sam’s weight loss is this: “You are a nice guy Sam Smith, but we gotta see some before and after weight loss photos before we believe you 100%.”
Well, we can’t find any such photos yet so we decided to make ’em ourselves. The before photos which we grabbed from the Daily Mail were reportedly taken at the beginning of 2015 (the first days of January) in Manly beach, Australia. On the other hand, we grabbed the “after” photos from Sam’s Instagram account which he posted on the 15th and 18th of March (follow him @samsmithworld).

We’d be the first to admit that the above are not good “before and after” photos because the images are not easy to compare (i.e., he’s sitting shirtless in one and standing while clothed in the other, one is taken side view while the other is front view). However, these do serve the purpose of erasing Deena’s skepticism who now agrees that Sam did indeed loss weight dramatically.
