Male Country Singers in Underwear: Boxers or Briefs?. Look who has signed up to be an underwear model? It’s our favorite country singer and the winningest The Voice judge Blake Shelton! Check him out as a Gildan underwear model.

Too bad we don’t actually see him wearing a pair, no? Anyhoo, here’s the media release on Blake’s underwear modeling gig for Gildan underwear: “Gildan Activewear Inc. announced today that it has signed a celebrity endorsement partnership with Blake Shelton, “Five-time and reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year” and coach of NBC’s reality competition series, The Voice. Mr. Shelton will support and promote Gildan branded products through different consumer initiatives.”

Says Blake of his underwear endorsement gig, “As a real Oklahoma guy who likes to kick-back in comfort at the end of the day, I am excited to promote Gildan, a brand that I appreciate for its quality and comfort.”

For his part, Gildan Vice President for Marketing Rob Packard has this to say about their endorsement agreement with the country singer, “We are thrilled to have Blake Shelton, an incredibly talented all-American country persona, promote Gildan. Blake Shelton’s authenticity coupled with his fun-loving roots makes him the perfect fit for Gildan, a genuine family apparel brand.”

Blake may be the most famous country singer posing as an underwear model but others have posed in their undies too. For instance, check out up-and-coming country star Steve Grand – of All American Boy fame – rocking his briefs underwear.
