Anyhoo, it turns out that this beautiful guy is Dean Geyer, a South African-born Australian singer-turned-actor.

Dean Geyer Shirtless. If you are a Glee fanatic, you’d know Dean Geyer as the newest addition to the show’s cast playing the role of Brody Weston, a student of the New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA)*. If you are an Australian Idol fanatic, you’d know him as that cute guy who placed third in the 2006 edition of the karaoke singing contest. And if you are into mixed martial arts (MMA) movies, you’d know him as the dude who starred as Mike Stokes in the 2011 movie, Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown. Check out Dean as an MMA fighter.

By the way, if you think pretty boy Dean is only a “make-believe” MMA fighter, it is our duty to tell you that he actually knows jujitsu and that he has a black belt in karate. He’s a badass, huh?

How did he get that physique that makes our male Famewatchers Kevin and Toby envious? Well, here’s what Dean says about the matter in a recent interview with Details Magazine:

DETAILS: Can you tell us about your regimen?
DEAN GEYER: My whole family is involved in the health industry, so I grew up with it. For me, it’s just maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy indulging in chocolate and that kind of stuff, but for the most part I like to keep things simple.

Protein, every day. I try and eat four meals a day, and the workout regimen, it’s really just weights three to four times a week, and also I keep up my jujitsu around two times a week. Being on a show like Glee, you don’t have the time to work out as much as you like to. But I try to keep it up.

DETAILS: Are you pretty mindful about your diet? Do you avoid red meat?
DEAN GEYER: No, no. Coming from South Africa, there’s not a lot of vegetarians. Everything is meat. The stable diet there is barbecued stuff, chicken, fish, with a couple of sides. I’ve grown up enjoying that. I don’t limit myself.

And if I don’t have enough meat during the day, I’ll have a protein shake. I sound like a meathead right now, but I’m an actor, so I’ve got to try and look good for the screen. I’d like to follow in the footsteps of Matt Damon and Jason Statham and do those big-budget action films. I’ve gotta keep up my regimen.
