Maxim Baldry Shirtless, Underwear, Girlfriend. Aside from our imaginary beau Benjamin Walker, another guy who will be starring in the Amazon Prime epic, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, is British actor Maxim Baldry. Specifically he will be playing Isildur on the show which, interestingly enough, was guessed correctly by a fan who made this image of Maxim rocking it as an elven king long before Amazon made the announcement on the specific role he’s gonna play on the series.

The Lord of the Rings is Maxim’s 14th acting gig per IMDB. Apparently, the now 26-year-old actor began his career in the entertainment biz pretty early and, in fact, was nominated at the 29th Young Artist Award for his very first onscreen role as Stepan in the 2008 movie Mr. Bean’s Holiday.

To date, prior to LOTR, the actor’s most prominent acting project would probably be in the TV series Hollyoaks where he played Liam Donovan for 80 episodes. He also starred in the critically acclaimed show Years and Years where he played the role of a gay Ukrainian refugee. We must note that the series was released in 2019 (on BBC and HBO) so it is not about the current Ukrainian crisis.

Maxim tells us about his role in an interview with Attitude Magazine: “He comes to the estate, then he meets Daniel who’s his housing officer. They strike up a relationship, they keep seeing each other and eventually it blossoms into love. At the heart of all these crazy world issues, Years and Years is a delicate love story between two people, and that’s what makes it profound on a lot of levels. It’s just a story about two people wanting to be together and loving each other – and who wouldn’t want to kiss Russell Tovey?”

Yes indeed, who wouldn’t want to touch lips with Russell Tovey. Hehe.

Maxim Baldry Gay or Straight in Real Life? We do not know. But we will update this post in the future if ever he mentions it.
