Jordyn Owens Girlfriend, Shirtless, Hunky Artist. You think there’s no such thing as a Renaissance Man? Well, let us introduce you to Jordyn Owens who, from where we are sitting, is the total embodiment of a modern-day Renaissance Man. First, he is a painter which means he is talented. Second, he plays varsity basketball which means he is sporty. Third, he went to university which means he’s got brains. And, lastly, he is a male model which means he’s got the body — oh, he models underwear too which means he’s got the whole package. Wink, wink.

Unfortunately, we had to crop Jordyn’s underwear photo above because we are still trying to stay in the good graces of our Grandma Akita. She’s grown more conservative over the years but we still want to inherit her Ming vase. Hehe.

Now, those of you who did not watch Neil Patrick Harris’ Uncoupled on Netflix would not have caught our hunky guy in his first ever acting gig. Yeah, he’s an actor too! Specifically, he played Trey the bartender who flirts with all his customers including the MILFy Tisha Campbell who happens to be the mother of his friend Kai. Jordyn was there for only one episode but he has what our friend Kevin calls “undeniable screen presence”. We expect to see more of him onscreen — whether on TV or the big screen — in the coming years.

Jordyn Owens Gay or Straight? Girlfriend or Boyfriend? He is straight and in interview last year with Hoda & Jenna, his girlfriend was also interviewed during the show. Her name is Mikayla O’Dowd and here’s the photo of our lovebirds which was flashed onscreen.

During the interview, we learn that Jordyn actually took up painting during the pandemic lockdown. He started posting his artworks on Instagram, people noticed, and some ended up buying his paintings. Jordyn Owens Ethnicity. He is African-American and is the son of actor Geoffrey Owens Elvin Tibideaux on the Cosby Show. Geoffrey went viral in 2018 when someone posted his photo working at Trader Joe’s, he was job-shamed by some but the internet largely defended him. Later on, Geoffrey explained that he worked at Trader Joe’s because it offered him the flexibility to pursue acting roles. He also mentioned that he was worried that Jordyn would be ashamed of him when the photo came out.

But the opposite happened. Here’s what he told People Magazine in 2018: “My wife and I were together when we saw it. It made me think of my son. I texted my son and warned him about the story breaking. I actually apologized to him for embarrassing him, because I knew that he’s in school away from us. I knew his classmates would see it and he’d be humiliated and embarrassed. I apologized to him.”

Geoffrey tells us how his Jordyn reacted: “Even before the wave of support rolled in within an hour or two, he sent me a beautiful text back about how proud he was of me. I cried, I just broke down. He felt the opposite of embarrassment. He was so proud that I had taken the job. It was beautiful. With my wife’s support and my son’s reactions, all before the counter-reaction came in, I felt very supported and loved. Then, the encouragement from all over the world started to come in and that was unbelievable and overwhelming.”

So our Jordyn’s got a good moral code too! He really is a Renaissance Man, ain’t he? Oh, by the by, we mentioned that he plays basketball so here’s a pic of him playing basketball. He was (is?) actually the guard for the University of Massachusetts Lowell basketball team.
