Gabriele Bertaccini Gay, Shirtless, Boyfriend: Say I Do Chef on Netflix. Are you watching the new Netflix show, Say I Do? If you ain’t, you should check it out because it is a wholesome positive show about people getting married and it is exactly what we need in these uncertain times.

Of course, we also need shows like Floor is Lava but there is nothing more inspiring than a show with people promising to love each other through thick and thin, highs and lows, and rainy days and sunny ones.

Say I Do is produced by the makers of Queer Eye so if you loved that one you will also love this one.

Anyhoo, one of the stars of the show is Italian chef Gabriele Bertaccini who is in charge of the food during the wedding. His two other costars focus on other wedding stuff like how the venue looks (Jeremiah Brent) and the bride and groom’s wedding outfits (Thai Nguyen).

Here’s what Gabriele says about his Netflix show (via popculture.com): “Say I Do, it’s really a show about storytelling, and it’s a show about hope, love, resiliency. It’s kind of a show that brings back the trust that we all should have in the power of love. In the fact that we can go through fears, struggles, failures, yet we find reassurance in love. The love is still there as a safety net. It’s there to pick us up anytime we need and we want.”

And here’s Gabriele on his co-stars Jeremiah and Thai: “There is something special about the bond that we created. I think especially because we were together 24/7, for three months filming this, and we were all emotionally invested. We were so vulnerable with each other, with others. I think it’s a bond that will never go away.”

Our hunky chef is the Sporty One among the three Say I Do experts. (Jeremiah Brent is the Crying One and we are still looking for the right descriptor for Thai Nguyen. Maybe the Thirsty One?) Gabriele completed a Spartan race obstacle course and landed 66th out of 300. Pretty cool, no?
