Well, according to Kevin, the Best Speedo title should, when we are talking about colors, go to red Speedos. He explains that red has the natural tendency to attract attention so it helps draw attention to you (that is, if you want to be the center of attention).

Kevin further explains that red Speedo swinsuits do not minimize your “asset” unlike, say, black or other dark-colored alternatives. On the other hand, they are not too revealing unlike white Speedo suits which sometimes highlight a guys “asset” to the point of vulgarity.

Kevin does raise some good points, no? But do you agree what the best mens Speedo title lookwise should go to red Speedos? We’re pretty sure these North Bondi Warriors will agree, after all, they picked red swimsuits to wear for their calendar.

Anyhoo, to test Kevin’s claim that red Speedos are the best lookswise, we decided to check out whether the best judge on the matter or those whose “career” requirement include wearing Speedos , i.e., Olympic swimmers and divers, have opted to wear red at least once. Let’s check it out, shall we?

Canadian diver Alex Despatie, whose medal tally include two Olympic silvers and three World Championship golds, seems to be fond of red Speedos.

American diver Troy Dumais (one Olympic bronze and three World Championship silvers) appears to be a fan of red Speedos too.

The same may be said for Chinese diver Cao Yuan who has won two Olympic gold medals and three World Championship medals, some of them he won with his red swimsuit.

Another fan of red Spedos is American diver David Boudia whose medal tally includes one Olympic gold and four silvers from the World Championships.

On the swim front, check out Ryan Lochte rocking his red swimsuit for a magazine photoshoot. Mr. Jeah’s medal tally include 6 Olympic golds and 18 World Championships. We’re impressed, Mr. Jeah. But then again, we think the medal tallies in swimming are overrated because of the abundance and similarity of swimming events.

Of course, divers and swimmers ain’t the only ones who picked red Speedo as a swimsuit of choice. Actor Jerry O’Connell made us say “Wow, Jeeerrrrryyyy!” when we saw this:
