Alex Aiono Shirtless, Girlfriend, Ethnicity. Look who’s playing a popular jock on television? It’s Youtube star turned legitimate actor Alex Aiono! According to deadline.com, he’s been cast as one of the main characters in the reboot of Pretty Little Liars (it’s called Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin). Speficically, he will be playing Shawn, the boyfriend of another main character and one of the most popular jocks at Millwood High.
This isn’t Alex’s first rodeo in the acting biz because he recently starred in the Netflix movie Finding Ohana and currently plays a recurring character in the Disney+ series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. Prior to these projects, he starred in Royal Flush (by Awesomeness TV) which you can stream on YouTube. Here’s Alex as surfer hunk Walter Camara (wiki identified the character as Walter Taumata) who is the love interest of Doogie M.D.

Alex Aiono Parents and Ethnic Background. Alex is mixed race. His mom (Heather) is of European descent while his dad (Martin is Samoan and Maori). Here’s a post he posted on Facebook (@AlexAiono) about a recent health scare involving his father:
At a single moment in time, nothing else in the whole world mattered to me. My life was thrown an absolute curveball, as I learned last week that my father had a heart attack and needed triple bypass surgery. I spent the last several days doing nothing but being with with my family, singing his favorite songs, laughing, and helping my father comeback from this minor setback. I’m so proud of my father and his endurance, as well as my mother’s and sisters’. My dad should be out of the hospital and continuing on his road to full recovery in the next couple of days. So as I fly home right now, I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for blessing us with a successful process and strengthening my family and our faith. Thank you to the friends and family who came to visit. Thank you guys for all being patient with me and praying for me and my family, I really appreciate it❤
