For those of you wondering, the guy who deserves the credit for designing Zoe Saldana’s/Nyota Uhura’s leather jacket is Logan Riese. Other film leather jackets made by Logan Riese include Christian Bale and Moon Bloodgood’s leather jackets in Terminator Salvation as well as John Malcovich’s leather duster in Jonah Hex.

Now although Zoe’s Star Trek leather jacket is not something you can buy from leather stores, here are some leather jackets worn by the Latina beauty IRL which might still be available. We say might because these are from the 2010/2011 seasons.

In this photo for Wonderland Magazine, Zoe is wearing a black Gucci cutout leather jacket from the fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection.
