Xabi Alonso Shirtless Update, Coaching, Awards, and Other Stuff. So how’s our favorite soccer dreamboat doing these days? Did you know that he retired in 2017 after a career where he accomplished many things playing football? He ain’t about sitting pretty after retirement though because he is now the coach of Real Sociedad B in the Spanish football league. Here’s a photo of Xabi looking gorgeous as ever while coaching his team:

In an interview with the BBC, the legendary footballer has this to say about his new gig as a club manager: “It’s my roots. I was born 15 minutes from here – I live close by so all my childhood has been around Real Sociedad. My father was a player, later he was manager so I always have had a very strong link to the club. I used to go to the stadium but later I was lucky enough to play for the first team and that was a dream come true at that moment. Being back here after so many years, almost 15 years, many memories are coming back to me. The surroundings, the facilities are fantastic and I’m really happy to be back.”

Did he just say that he used to play with Real Sociedad when he was younger? True enough, here’s the young football player turned manager in his Real Sociedad outfit.

Xabi Alonso Awards. Will Xabi win more awards and add more titles to his name as a football manager? Only time will tell, no? But his awards as a football player are very impressive indeed and includes a World Cup, the European Championship twice, the Champions League twice, four domestic league titles, four major domestic cup competitions, and the Uefa Super Cup.
