Dark(ish) comedy Rough Night centers around a very muscular, very dead stripper and the five friends (Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Zoë Kravitz, and Illana glazer) who have to deal with the aftermath of a lap dance gone desperately wrong.

Interviewed by Parade Magazine on what it was like working with the talented girls in the movie, here’s what Ryan say about his more established co-stars: “I learned so much from each of them. I really did. You’re right in saying it’s diverse. Kate has such silliness and humor. Scarlett has such professionalism, and such a body of work. And she’s kind and gentle. Jillian is so sensitive and kind and approachable. Same with Ilana and Zoë. They just know who they are.”
