Ludvig Aberg Girlfriend, Golf Titles, Illness, Shirtless. Today in Hot Male Golfers we’re bringing you Swedish cutie Ludvig Aberg aka Our Newest Imaginary Beau! For those of you who are not really into gold, Ludvig is currently ranked #10 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He is from Sweden but currently lives in Florida, graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in economics and, apparently, he was not fond of golf when he was growing up but was encouraged by his dad.
More about how his father helped him become a top world golfer from lubbockonline.com: “I think one of the earliest memories that I had was from my dad. Me and my dad went out and played golf at my home club, and I didn’t really like it at first, so he would always bribe me and tell me that if I stayed for another hour, I’d get ice cream or something like that.”
Awww, ain’t that cool! In a world where parents force their children to do sports for fame and glory, wouldn’t it be a better world if we have more like Ludvig’s dad who enticed him to play golf by offering ice cream? It wasn’t a bad move on his father’s part because Ludwig is now a multi-millionaire thanks to golf! Per pgatour.com, to date he’s banked a total of US$19,315,573 in prize money since he joined the PGA Tour in 2023.
In terms of titles, so far he’s brought home championship trophies from the 2023 RSM Classic (played in Georgia, USA), the 2025 Genesis Invitational aka the Los Angeles Open, and the 2023 Omega European Masters. For more on the kid, follow him on Instagram @luddeaberg.
On the relationship front, our Swedish hottie is reportedly dating fellow Texas Tech alumni Olivia Peet. Apparently, she’s from the UK but played tennis for Texas Tech. Sporty girl! Here’s our lovebirds chilling at some sports event.
For the thirsty hos among us who are fans of shirtless athletes, we’re sorry we can’t find any shirtless pic of Ludvig. But we did find this one which was originally mislabeled as Ludvig Aberg. It turns out that the guy in the photo is actually an internet personally called Ludwig Ahgrens. Hehe.
By the way, before we end this post, did you know that a mystery bug struck Ludvig early this year. It was sooo bad he had to withdraw from a tournament and lost a lot of weight.
He tells us more about it in an interview with golf.com: “Yeah, it was rough for a while. It started — Round 1 was fine, Round 2 was fine, and I sort of woke up in the middle of the night. I guess this must have been Friday night because we started Wednesday, going into the third round, and I started throwing up, and I started all these things, and it wasn’t very enjoyable. And then it sort of was OK for a couple of days, and then at Pebble, it kind of shifted to like feverish and almost like body aches and shivering. First, I was really hot. Then I got really cold. Lost about eight pounds total in two days, so that’s not the right way to lose weight.”
They still do not know what caused it: “I don’t know. If I knew, I would tell you. My first initial reaction was food poisoning because it was sort of the timeline made sense, but then it sort of shifted to the fever. I don’t know. All I know is it wasn’t enjoyable and I’m glad I’m over it.”
