According to our friend Deena, Karen, who stands at 1.98m or 6 foot 6 inches, is the tallest tennis player in the world. We haven’t double checked if Deena is correct but we are gonna believe her after seeing Karen’s photo with top tennis star Carlos Alcaraz. Believe you me, Karen towers over his Spanish counterpart.

Did you know that he won a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics? He bowed to Germany’s Alexander Zverev 3-6, 1-6 in the men’s singles final.

Aside from his Olympic medal, his other achievements include winning the 2018 Paris Masters beating Novak Djokovic in the finals. He won the 2023 Madrid Open alongside doubles partner Andrey Rublev, the two outscored Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden to take home the crown.
Karen has established a pretty good record in the Grand Slams. He made it to the quarterfinals in this year’s Wimbledon Championships and he’ll be advancing to the next round if he beats Taylor Fritz. Prior to this year, he’s made two quarterfinal appearances in the French Open and another one at Wimbledon. More impressively, he’s made it to the semifinals in both the U.S. Open and the Australian Open.
To date, he’s made a total of US$19,434,481 in prize money according to wikipedia which makes him a multi-millionaire. Yay!
In the relationship front, he is married to wife Veronika Shkliaeva, his childhood sweetheart. The couple have two children who are both boys.
