J’Tia Taylor as a Playboy Model. Let’s continue blogging about the rumored castaways of Survivor Cagayan. From the gorgeous Jeremiah Wood [see Jeremiah Wood Shirtless], let’s move on to J’Tia Taylor a nuclear engineer who, back in 2004 when she was still a graduate student, modeled for Playboy as a Cyber Girl of the Week.
A model beauty with the brains of a nuclear engineer? That’s a powerful combination which should make her a strong and interesting player in the Survivor game. We wonder where the Survivor gods will place her when they divide the castaways to the Beauty vs. Brain vs. Brawn tribes.
So what is J’Tia doing now? She’s with the Argonne National Laboratory, a multidisciplinary research agency where “‘dream teams’ of world-class researchers work alongside experts from industry, academia and other government laboratories to address vital national challenges in clean energy, environment, technology and national security.” [Quote from anl.gov]
Specifically, J’Tia works as a nonproliferation technical specialist in Argonne’s Nuclear Engineering division and this is what she says about her job: “I work mainly in the area of export control, assessing technologies for their nonproliferation implications. I look at a lot of the emerging technologies presented to the U.S. government that are not necessarily on the market. My job is to analyze what the technology does and what it’s used for, assess how it can be used and determine its implications for weapons of mass destruction.” [Quote from Argonne’s Twitter account.]

J’Tia did a Q&A with Playboy where she talked about her studies, plans after school, and the ideal guy:
What are some courses you’re taking in grad school? Nuclear, plasma and radiological engineering.
Why did you want to pose for Playboy? I feel that I am intelligent, secure in myself and attractive. I believe men are interested in seeing women like that in Playboy.
What do you want to do after grad school? Work in national security relations. What attracts you to a guy? An athletic body and a great smile.
What three things does a guy need to get a second date? A sense of humor, intelligence and kindness.
Can you describe yourself in 10 words or less? Self-assured, intelligent, attractive, caring, firm and a great personality.
