While we were not looking, our imaginary Asian boyfriend David Lim has managed to establish himself as an actor in Hollywood. Some of you may already know that he’s a recurring cast in the second season of Quantico where he gets to go kissy kissy with our imaginary British boyfriend Russell Tovey.

We originally included their kissing photos but our Grandma Akita said its too steamy so we decided to un-publish the intimate pics and replace it with this near-kiss instead. Hehe. What say you, Granny?

Now, what would you do if imaginary boyfriends like our David and our Russell end up going for each other instead? We’ll say bye bye beau, of course. But since David and Russell are playing imaginary characters (David as Sebastian Chen and Russell as Harry Doyle) we ain’t gonna say bye bye at all.

Is David Lim Gay in Real Life? Now, we know that Russell is an out and proud member of the LGBT community but what about David Lim? Is he also a friend of Dorothy? Nah. He is straight and is dating a girlfriend. Or maybe they’re married already. We’re not sure. TV Line reports on our David’s casting which, to date, is his biggest break in Hollywood:

“A couple weeks before shooting began, our pilot director Justin Lin felt the S.W.A.T. team needed one more member to feel complete. Justin, Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and I remembered David Lim, who had really impressed us in an audition for a different role. We quickly created the role of Victor Tan and were lucky enough to cast David,” said S.W.A.T. executive producer Shawn Ryan. “Seeing his great work in the pilot, as well as in subsequent early episodes, convinced us to promote him to series regular, and we are thrilled to have him join our official S.W.A.T. team, both on camera and off.”
