Steven G. Norfleet Shirtless, Underwear, Wedding. Aside from Julian Horton, another actor who’s caught our attention in Beauty in Black is Steven G. Norfleet who plays Charles Bellarie. Charles is openly gay, loud, proud, and is in a relationship with an attorney played by Terrell Carter.

In real life, Steven is also a member of the LGBT community and is very much married to Anthony Hemingway, a film/tv director who’ve helmed tv shows shows like American Crime Story, Power, True Blood, and Shameless. Here’s our love birds when they tied the knot in 2019:

Here’s a random fact which you might know about Steven: He’s actually got a math degree from Morehouse College. Here’s the actor talking about his major in an interview with bleumag.com: “While I was in school, I worked as a tutor and realized I liked teaching. So, after graduation, I started a graduate program at USC, planning to become a teacher. What I love about math is the process—there’s a lot going on. You can get the right answer, but you also have to back it up and show how you got there.”

He also talks about how he transitioned from what’s supposed to be an academic career to one that is in the performing arts: “While I was in grad school, I was also dancing professionally. I went on tour with Keyshia Cole and everything. But eventually, I had to make a choice, and I decided to leave the education route to pursue my dream of dancing. My mindset was: school will always be there, but I didn’t know how long I’d have opportunities to dance.”
