Joseph Zada Shirtless, Girlfriend, Ethnicity. Is Joseph Zada the next Jacob Elordi? A writer of russh.com sure thinks he can be and we kinda agree with the assessment. For those who’ve not been paying attention to their Hollywood celebs, Joseph Elordi is an Australian actor who had a relatively short time making it big in Hollywood.
Like, Jacob was not widely known back in 2017 but, after starring on Netflix’s The Kissing Booth, he blew up and landed prestigious roles in projects like Saltburn (which earned him a BAFTA nomination) and the talk-of-the-town show that is/was Euphoria.
Anyhoo, it looks like Joseph Zada is in the same trajectory as he’s been cast in two big projects which has the potential of making him a real deal Hollywood star. One of the two projects is The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping where he’ll be playing Haymitch Abernathy. The other big project is the Netflix adaptation of East of Eden where he will be playing Cal Trask.
We’re kinda over the Hunger Games to be honest but, as a John Steinbeck fan, we are really really looking forward to watching East of Eden. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will be great and that Joseph will be great as well.
To date, he’s starred in three TV shows and two movies and the feedback is that he’s a really talented actor. One of his shows, Invisible Boys, has been well-received in Australia as well as in the wider LGBT community because of its portrayal of gay characters.
Anyhoo, here’s a post from Joseph talking about the show: “Ahhh I’m very late to the party on this one as I’ve only very recently wrapped an intense shoot BUT here’s the long awaited bts from our invisible boys shoot. To all the beautiful people who’ve sent lovely messages about our show I thank you from the bottom of my heart, it truly means the world to me. I really do think we’ve captured something special. An important story at an important time and I’m so bloody relieved we brought it justice. To come into this project seconds after finishing highschool and to lead it with very little professional acting experience was daunting. But luckily I had the best cast and crew to guide me through and make living on the other side of Australia feel like home.”
