Jay Chou Shirtless: Kato in Green Hornet Movie. Taiwanese pop idol/actor Jay Chou (Zhōu Jiélún) has been cast as Kato in Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet movie. The role was played by Bruce Lee in the 1960s television version. According to the Hollywood Reporter Jay landed the role after a video audition last month. Says Jay of his role: “I won’t try to be Bruce Lee’s Kato. I will try to bring my own interpretation to the part.” Good decision, Jay.
