Cristo Fernández Shirtless, Underwear, Girlfriend. If there is ever an award for a television character that makes you happy every time he appears onscreen, this award should go to Dani Rojas of AFC Richmond.

What about it MTV? You should create a Most Joyful Performance Award and give it to actor Cristo Fernandez. He totally deserves it because his joyfulness is so palpable it radiates through the screen and warms our cold, cold heart.

For those of you not familiar with what we are saying, you should check out the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso where Cristo Fernandez plays Dani Rojas, a football star who is really, really happy because he is playing football. He cracks us up every time he says “Football is life” and reminds us of that guy who never fails to make us happy whenever he says “Pop, Pop” on the TV show Community.

Ted Lasso may be Cristo’s most prominent acting project but he has also starred in 23 other movies and television shows. Moreover, the Mexican actor has some experience behind the camera as, according to IMDB, he has also produced and directed several short movies.

One of said movies, Çdo Çast, earned him the best short film Jury Prize at the 2019 Festival Internacional de Cine Ciudad Madero. Additionally, his short movie Fuera De Serie won the Audience Award at the 2017 Mediterranean Film Festival (MedFF).

Props to the guy for being talented not only in front of the camera but behind the scenes too.

Cristo Fernandez Gay or Straight? Girlfriend or Boyfriend? We have no answers to these questions but we will update this post when we do have the information in the future. However, we did come across these photos of Cristo and a pretty girl who could be his girlfriend.

Also, we think he is a straight ally to the LGBT community having produced and directed a short gay movie called Tu Vestido Rosa (Your Pink Dress) which earned nominations from the International Queer Film Festival Playa Del Carmen as well as the Mexico International Short Film Festival.
