Celebrities With Coronavirus. We’re stuck at home getting bored and are too faint-hearted to watch the second episode of the Korean Netflix show Kingdom (we gotta have Sheila beside us to watch it because we get easily scared for this kind of show) so we decided to go browsing on Reddit and came across a post about Idris Elba tweeting that he tested positive for COVID-19. We’re like, there should be a list of celebrities who were infected with Corona. We can’t find any so we decided to make one ourselves.
So fellow Famewatchers who are stuck at home because you don’t want to expose yourself to the virus (or to expose others if you have it), here’s a running list of famous people with the Corona virus:
Idris Elba on Twitter: “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic.”

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Here’s what the actor shared on Instagram: “Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.
“Well, now. What to do next? The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves! Hanx!”

Olga Kurylenko (French Ukrainian actress and model) on Instagram: “Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus. I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”
Kristofer Hivju (Norwegian Games of Thrones actor) on Instagram: “Greetings from Norway! Sorry to say that I, today, have tested positive for COVID19, Corona virus. My familiy and I are self-isolating at home for as long as it takes. We are in good health – I only have mild symptoms of a cold. There are people at higher risk for who this virus might be a devastating diagnosis, so I urge all of you to be extremely careful; wash your hands, keep 1,5 meters distance from others, go in quarantine; just do everything you can to stop the virus from spreading. Together we can fight this virus and avert a crisis at our hospitals. Please take care of each other, keep your distance, and stay healthy! Please visit your country’s Center for Disease Control’s website, and follow the regulations for staying safe and protecting not just yourselves, but our entire community, and especially those at risk like the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions.”

Rudy Gobert (basketball player for the Utah Jazz) stupidly mocked those warning about COVID-19 by wiping his hands all over the place and then it turns out that he is positive for the virus. He then issued an apology for his conduct:

Donovan Mitchell (Utah Jazz basketball player): A point guard for the Utah Jazz, Donovan Mitchell may have been infected by teammate Rudy Gobert who, according to reporter Adrian Wojnarowski had “been careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings”.
Understandably, he got mad at his careless teammate but he revealed in an interview with Good Morning America that he has cooled off. Quote: “It took a while for me to cool off. I read what he said and I heard what he said. I’m glad he’s doing OK, I’m glad I’m doing well. I’m just really happy, to be honest, that it’s just – I hate to say it’s just two of us but it wasn’t the whole party.”
Christian Wood (Detroit Pistons basketball player). From The Athletic reporter Shams Charania: “Detroit Pistons‘ Christian Wood has tested positive for coronavirus, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Wood had 30 and 11 rebounds against Rudy Gobert on Saturday night before a career-high 32 on Wednesday. Sources say Wood has shown no symptoms and is doing well.”

Okay, that’s it for now. This is a running list and we will update it in the coming days.
