This is not to say that wrap-around dresses are not fab at all. In fact, they’re pretty chic and fab. It’s just that they require more “maintenance” during windy days.

Celebrities Wearing Wrap Around Dresses Update. Here’s Janet Jackson and her wrap-around electric blue dress during an event for amFAR or the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Janet’s chic dress is from her good friend Donatella Versace’s Fall 2009 collection. It presents a very flattering figure for our Miss J, no? She sure is looking gorgeous!
Next, here’s hitmaker Beyonce Knowles aka Sasha Fierce in a midi-wraparound black and gold dress. Is that her husband Jay-Z walking behind our glamorous diva looking like a bodyguard? Haha. He’s a star in his own right but his dressed-down style usually makes him look like a fashion “commoner” to Beyonce’s fabulous “royalty”.
Oh speaking of royalty, what do you think of this sweeping Carolina Herrera wrap-around gown seen during the Fall Winter 2011 New York Fashion Week? We say its a dress fit for a queen!
