When Deena told us that Jake Bongiovi is engaged to a certain Millie Bobbie Brown, we were like, “Don’t know them. Don’t care about them. And we don’t know why you are giving us this irrelevant information.”

She was surprised by our ignorance and blurted out, “What do you mean you don’t know Jake Bongiovi? He’s the son of Jon Bon Jovi. You know, the lead singer of Bon Jovi the rock band who you claim to be a fan of?”

We were like, “Whaaaa…?” Then we told her that we are indeed fans of Jon Bon Jovi but we do not give a lick about his personal life or family life. Never, ever, ever. Like we are fans of other celebrities but don’t care about what they are doing outside of their music, or movies, or TV shows, or whatever public accomplishments they have.

Critics are not exactly loving the series — it has a 43% rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes — but if you are a fan of legal dramas, you should check it out. Oh, it also stars Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad fame as Hunter’s dad and the titular “Your Honor” judge.

Admittedly, Forbes Magazine is not what it used to be — i.e., it doesn’t spell good reputation or prestige considering that it’s been naming charlatans and crooks in its list like Elizabeth Holmes, Charlie Javice, Sam Bankman-Fried, and Martin “Pharma Bro” Shkreli — but making it to the Hollywood list this early in his career is still an honor.

Banks is best known for his role as Will Smith in Peacock’s Bel-Air, the re-imagined drama series based on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The show aired its second season in February 2023 and was recently renewed for a third. His performance in the show has earned him nominations for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series by the 2023 NAACP Image Awards and Best Actor by the 2022 BET awards.”
