Men in Arena Swimwear: Olympians and Models

Hunky Men in Arena Swimwear Part II. The recently concluded Tokyo Olympic Games has given us more men rocking their Arena swimsuits so we decided to update this post to bring you more guys to admire.

First up is 26-year-old British swimmer Adam Peaty who bagged two gold medals in Tokyo. His first is for the 100m breaststroke and his second gold is for the mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay. Curiously, although he has a sponsorship deal with Arena through the Tokyo Games, his swimsuit during the finals does not appear to have the Arena logo. This may be because Team Great Britain is actually outfitted by Adidas and, in fact, he’s seen wearing Adidas swimsuit during his practice sessions.

But he did give a shoutout to Arena in an Instagram post after he won so must have been obligated to wear Adidas because of Team GB’s contract with the brand. At any rate, here’s Adam rocking his Arena swimsuits:

Aside from Adam Peaty, Arena also has sponsorship deals with other swimmers who did great in Tokyo include Milak Kristof from Hungary who bagged a gold medal (for the 200m butterfly) and a silver medal for the 100m butterfly) during the Tokyo Games.

For his part, Arno Kamminga of the Netherlands won two silver medals at the 2020 Games (one for the 100m breaststroke and another for the 200m breaststroke).

Next up is French swimming champion Florent Manaudou who added a silver medal to his Olympic tally in the 50m freestyle event. He already has a gold for the same event from the London 2012 Games, a silver from the Rio 2016 Games and a silver from the Rio Games from the 4×100 m freestyle.

When it comes to stamina in swimming Germany’s Florian Wellbrock may have the boasting rights because he bested his rivals in the men’s 10 kilometer open water event which earned him the gold in Tokyo. Damn, we can’t event swim 100 meters non-stop let alone 10 freakin’ kilometers. Props to you, Florian! Mad respect. Aside from his 10km gold, he also has a bronze from the 1500m freestyle.

Italian swimming champ Gregorio Paltrinieri added a silver (800m freestyle) and a bronze (10 km open water) from the Tokyo Games to his Olympic medal tally. He already has a gold medal (1500m freestyle) from the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Last but not the least in our list of men who rock their Arena swimsuits is 22-year-old Italian cutie Nicolò Martinenghi who brought home two bronze medals from Japan. Specifically, he placed third in the 100m breaststroke event and he and his teammates nabbed another bronze for the 4×100 m medley.

Men in Arena Swimwear: Hot Olympians and Male Models (Posted 5 June 2012). Although we often refer to swimsuits as Speedos, it is important to remember that Speedo is not the only swimsuit brand out there and that there are actually other brands that, though less famously known, are just as good, as sexy, and as cool as Speedos.

One of said brands would be Arena swimwear which, according to wikipedia, was actually created by Adidas France but is now a totally independent company headquartered in Italy. Anyhoo here’s an advert featuring a handsome redhead with the reddest head we’ve seen in a while.

Like Speedo and other competitive swimwear brands, Arena has a stable of sponsored swimmers some of whom we’ve already met in the past. Remember Brazilian swimmer Cesar Cielo? Turns out that the world swimming champion is an Arena endorser, so we’re mistaken when we mentioned that he wears Speedo. Here’s Cesar in his Arena swimtrunks:

Another Olympic great who wears Arena in the swimming pool is the United States’ Aaron Peirsol who we’ve earlier mentioned in our post about Nike Swimwear for Men. You’re looking good Aaron, although you’re looking too serious. Hehe.

Russia’s Alexander Popov, one of the greatest pool sprinters of all time, also wore Arena swimsuits during his competitive days. Check him out in the pic below from the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, his last Olympic participation when he was at the ripe old age (for a swimmer) of 32 years old. He failed to medal in Athens but he boasts a total of four Olympic golds from previous Games as well as six gold medals from the World Swimming Championships. He had a great run, for sure.

Now, other active Olympic swimmers who wear Arena swimsuit include: Chad Le Clos of South Africa, Eric Shanteau of the United States, Milorad Cavic of Serbia (we included him in our list of Hot Serbian Men), the Hungarian water polo team, and Stephane Debaere of France/Tahiti. Check them out in the photos below:

So do you have a favorite among this men in Arena swimwear? We must admit that we were encouraged to write this post when we came across the above photo of Stephane. Damn, ain’t he hot! We’re calling him our imaginary swimming boyfriend just because.
