The guy is clearly very talented and embodies what our friend Deena calls the quintessential Hollywood hunk and yet, for some reason, he is not on the top of the hill. Sure, he continues to work in tinseltown and has proven his longevity but the fan in us think that he, you know, should be in the A-List.

Was it for lack of a good agent or a good publicist? The kind of roles he plays? Or is it simply a matter of serendipity, you know, of doing the right project at the right time which propels an actor to the top. But then again, maybe the simple answer is that he never really wanted to end at the top. Who wants to be an A-Lister if you have tons of problems that go along with it, no?

On the relationship front, we guess its okay to say that our Matt is a ladies’ man you can’t tie down. His ex-girlfriends list include the likes of Elisha Dushku, Cameron Diaz, Brooke Shields, and others. Currently, he is dating actress Roberta Mastromichele.
