There are internet rumors that he is gay in real life. For instance, he is the favorite guess for this Billy Masters blind item when he divorced his wife (or his wife divorced him, we don’t know) after a very short marital period of one month:

Last March, he revealed in an interview with People Magazine that he is expecting a baby with fiancee Julie Solomon.

I’m beside myself.’ Just this week, Schaech, 43, and Solomon, 28, a Nashville native and music and book publicist, found out they’re expecting a son. ‘It is life-changing,’ says the actor, who co-stars in the upcoming Showtime series Ray Donovan and the new season of The Client List. ‘Good things come to those who wait. I feel so lucky’.”
