Who’d have thunk that the guy who truly annoyed us in Big Bang will truly make us hate his character on the Ryan Murphy show. If that isn’t proof of a good actor we don’t know what is.

Jim Parsons – Sheldon Cooper – Underwear and Shirtless Photos (10 March 2013). Who wants some underwear photos of Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper? No, one? We thought so! Who wants to see a super-annoying social idiot strip to his undies? Okay, maybe his “girlfriend” Amy Farrah Fowler will die to see him without his clothes but that’s one out of the 5 billion people who populate the earth.
Can you tell that we don’t like Sheldon Cooper? Hehehe. We are just annoyed by him and our favorite BBT episodes are those where he’s given a less prominent role to play and the story focuses on the other characters.
This is not a criticism of Jim Parsons, by the way, because we kinda like the guy. He is clearly a talented actor and the tons of acting awards he received for playing Sheldon Cooper is a testament to his talent. Still, we can’t help but be annoyed by the character he plays. Hehe.

Todd and Jim were engaged back in 2010 but the former called off the wedding a year later reportedly because Jim does not want to have a child. Apparently, our Jim does not like kids. From the February 2011 issue of the National Enquirer:
The wedding is off for Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons! The actor’s fiance, Todd Spiewak, put the brakes on their marriage plans after the couple disagreed on whether to adopt children.
“Jim and Todd have been together for quite a while, but never really talked kids. Todd always assumed that Jim wanted to have a family,” stated a friend of the couple.
“Jim recently made a joke about how he couldn’t handle being around children, and when Todd asked him about having kids together, Jim said ‘no way.’ Todd was heartbroken. They both love each other very much and are still living together, but their relationship is shaken up right now.”
According to the Enquirer, Jim proposed to Todd and so the two began planning a wedding but the planning “unraveled before the holidays when the men began serious discussions about starting a family”.
This development led the Big Bang star to rethink and maybe welcome the idea of having children. Says the source: “Jim loves Todd deeply and can’t imagine life without him, so he’s seriously rethinking his view on children. For now, everything is on hold.”
There’s no word yet on whether Jim (or Todd) changed his mind about the issue of having/not having kids. Well, we hope one of them changes his mind (and we are hoping its Jim who does) because these two look good together and it would be bad, bad, bad if they break up because of the issue.
By the way, although they called off their wedding, Todd and Jim are still apparently seeing each other.
Update: Jim and Todd tied the knot in May 2017. Yay for the couple!
