Unfortunately, he won during the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020 so there’s no red carpet walk slash big-venue acceptance speech for our guy. Instead, we had him accepting his award via Zoom.

Actually, we heard of the show before but didn’t have Cinemax so we were not able to check it out. Good thing it is now on a streaming service which makes it accessible.

Anyhoo, the show stars Andrew Koji as a badass martial arts expert who goes to San Francisco in search of his younger sister. That’s all we are gonna say because we do not want to spoil anything. Go check it out, its a critical hit with an 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and it would be great if more people watch it.

Kei Nishikori Wife Update. Apparently, the Japanese tennis superstar has tied the knot last December 2020 with long-time girlfriend Mai Yamauchi. From asia.nikkei.com: “Japan’s Kei Nishikori married 29-year-old former model Mai Yamauchi last week, the former world No. 4 men’s singles player announced Friday on his personal app.”

The two, who registered their marring on 11 December 2020, have been dating for five years and and she had been accompanying him and supporting him on tour and at Grand Slam events. No wedding photos, unfortunately but here are photos of Kei and Mai:
