Dylan O’Brien Shirtless, Girlfriend, Awards. Oh, wow! We thought we’ve already written a post on Dylan O’Briend back when Teen Wolf was airing on MTV but, apparently, we have not. But we did write a post on Teen Wolf Jackets so you should check it out.
Anyhoo, how’s our Dylan doing these days? Well, he’s still good-lookin’ in that boyish kind of way. And, per his IMDB profile, he’s been booked and busy since he said goodbye to his role as Stiles Stilinksi five years in 2017. Specifically, he headlined the 2020 movie Love and Monsters (which was nominated for an Oscar for Visual Effects), continued to play the lead character in the third installment of The Maze Runner (aka The Maze Runner: The Death Cure), and he’ll be starring in more projects such as the upcoming thriller The Vanishings at Caddo Lake as well as a political buddy comedy called Maximum Truth.
Dylan O’Brien Awards. He may be just north of 30 but the actor has already brought home several awards — 13 according to wiki and 12 according to IMDB — from the likes of MTV Movie Awards, Teen Choice, and Young Hollywood. Granted, these are more popularity contests rather than recognition from critics or, more importantly, his peers but an award is an award is an award. Oh, and he’s only 31 years old so he’s got years ahead of him to bring home an Emmy, or a SAG, or an Oscars trophy. Anyhoo, here’s the actor receiving his Young Hollywood Award back in 2014.
Dylan O’Brien Gay or Straight? Girlfriend or Boyfriend? He is straight and he reportedly dated Britt Robertson from 2011 to 2017. He’s also rumored to have been in a relationship with Chloe Grace Moretz.
Dylan is an ally to the LGBT community and played a guy who falls in love with the older Ed O’Neill in the sci-fi anthology Weird City. Unfortunately, we haven’t watch the show because we are not subscribed to YouTube Premium where it streamed but here’s a description of the episode which we copied from wikipedia:
Stu (Dylan O’Brien) lives Above The Line but was born Below it, and thus was never assigned a romantic partner at birth. He uses a dating service that claims to find perfect matches, and is paired with Burt (Ed O’Neill). Despite both men identifying as straight and their significant age difference, they form a friendship that quickly becomes romantic, they even get married. A year later, they are forcibly separated and assigned new partners by Dr. Negari (LeVar Burton), the founder of the dating service, who informs them their match was made in error. Stu and Burt decide to move Below The Line in order to remain with each other.
Ain’t that cute? We’re now interested in watching the anthology series which, apparently, was developed by Jordan Peele. It seems like it focuses on issues like the ones tackled by Black Mirror which is probably our favorite show on Netflix.
