Casey Deidrick Shirtless Abs, Underwear, Girlfriend. Did you know that the handsome actor who plays Max Parish on The CW show In the Dark used to be a soap opera star? This is a new discovery for yours truly but, yes, we just find out through Deena that Casey Deidrick was in Days Of Our Lives.

He played Chad DiMera on the show and was actually there for a significant amount of time. He joined the long-running soap in 2009 and left in 2013. Asked by soaps.com on whether leaving was his decision, Casey answered in the affirmative and explained that he wanted to pursue other opportunities.

Quote: “Leaving ‘Days’ was completely my decision. I wanted to pursue other career opportunities. I felt like it was just time to try something else, I don’t like staying in one spot for too long. [smiles] I will always cherish the time I had on ‘Days’ and the people I got to work with. It really is one of the best families out there and I wish everyone the best. I am very thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”

It turned out to be a great decision because he’s gone on to star in several movies and TV shows such as Eye Candy, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Teen Wolf, and Driven. Oh, he is headlining a Christmas movie too — A Very Merry Bridesmaid — which you should check out on the Hallmark Channel.
