Brendan Lemieux Shirtless Update. It’s been five years since we last updated this post and we think its time to update it again to note that our hockey player is currently with the Los Angeles King. Oh, he just signed a one-year contract extension with them too for $1,350,000. Pretty cool, huh?

Here’s a fun fact about Brendan: He’s got a gold medal from the 2013 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament held in the Czech Republic. He was a member of the Canadian U-18 national team which competed during the tournament and he scored one of the goals which carried them to victory 4-0 against the United States.

Brendan Lemieux 2017 Update. Brendan is currently playing with the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League. Meanwhile, according to nhlwags.com the girl with Brendan in the photos we published above is indeed his girlfriend. Her name, for those of you wondering, is Anna Chin.

Brendan Lemieux Shirtless, Girlfriend, Awards (30 June 2014). Buffalo Sabres fans, meet Brendan Lemieux, one of the newest members of your National Hockey League (NHL) team. The guy is fired up and out to prove something after teams ignored him in the first round of this year’s NHL draft.
From nhl.com: “Brendan Lemieux was forced to sit through the first round of the 2014 NHL Draft at Wells Fargo Center on Friday without hearing his name called. It wasn’t easy. After the Buffalo Sabres selected him Saturday morning with the first pick of the second round (No. 31), Lemieux vowed to make the rest of the NHL regret making him wait, particularly some of the teams his father, Claude Lemieux, played for during his 20-plus year career, including the Colorado Avalanche.”
Brendan, who was born in Denver, has this to say about how being “snubbed” by his “home team” will motivate him: “There are a few teams there — Colorado — that really stung, but like I said, I’m definitely going to love going in their arenas and making it hard on their guys because they decided to pass me over. I’m going to use this as fuel. They gave one of the more fiery guys in the draft, I’d like to say, a lot more fire.”
This can only be good for the Buffalo Sabres, no? We’d rather have a man with something to prove in our team than one who’s full of himself because he’s a Round 1 pick.
