Asa Butterfield Gay or Girlfriend? It is Asa Butterfield day here on Famewatcher so we are writing our second post on him today. If you are an Asa fan, make sure you do not miss our previous post on the young actor and his jacket on the Netflix show S*x Education which a lot of people are wanting to buy: Asa Butterfield Otis Milburn Jacket.

But now, let’s proceed to the question at hand which is whether Asa is gay or straight and, consecutively, whether he has a girlfriend or a boyfriend. Well, our talented British actor is straight but you can say that, like his character on S*x Education, he is LGBT friendly. How do we know this? Because, back in 2013 when he was promoting the movie Ender’s Game, he stated that he supports gay marriage which is in direct contrast to the stance of the author of the book the movie was based on who was vehemently vocal in his opposition against marriage equality for the LGBT.

Now, as to whether Asa has a girlfriend, we don’t know whether the 22-year-old cutie is seeing anyone now but he reportedly dated Ella Purnell who was his co-star in the movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Now, ain’t they a cute couple?

For those of you wondering, the other guys are Ollie Locke and Matt Bentley. They all star in the upcoming movie Greed which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last September and which is described as a “satire on wealth, centered around a billionaire high-street fashion mogul’s 60th birthday on the Greek island Mykonos”.

Sounds interesting, no? It’s got a middling score on Rotten Tomatoes (63%) but it may be worth a watch if these guys are wearing togas in the movie. Seriously, when was the last time you watched a film with actors in togas? Maybe when you came across Charlton Heston’s Ben Hur chariot racing on your television?
