Soap Opera Stars in Speedo or Underwear: TV Jocks and Hunks. Let’s have more actors in Speedos but, this time, let’s focus on the gorgeous soap opera actors who charm, connive, and sizzle on the small screen. Let’s start with John Allen Nelson who starred as Warren Lockridge in the mid-80s drama, Santa Barbara. He was also a regular at CSI: Miami (from 2005 to 2009) where he played the roles of Mike Rydell/Todd Peterson.
Next up in our group of Speedo-wearing soap opera hunks is Alec Musser, an American fitness model and actor who starred as Del Henry on All My Children from 2005 to 2007. His last TV appearance, according to his IMDB profile is the Desperate Housewives episode, Watch While I Revise the World, nearly two years ago.
Third in our list is from across the pond, 35-year-old British hunk Adam Rickitt. His most famous soap opera acting gig would be his role as Nick Tilsley on the popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Adam is also a model, a singer and, according to wikipedia, a “charity fundraiser”.
Fourth in our list of Speedo-wearing soap opera actors is Canadian cutie Cameron Arthur Mathison who starred on All My Children as Ryan Lavery, a role he played from 1997 to 2011. This pic is an early modeling gig for a swimwear company.
Now 50 years old, Don Diamont is every inch a hunk in the pic below. Did you know that he is the first soap opera actor to be chosen as one of People Magazine’s most beautiful people? On TVLandia, Don is most famous for his role as Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless and as Bill Spencer, Jr. on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Like Don, our next hunky hunk — Dylan Neal — also appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful (but only for 10 episodes). He had a much longer gig with Dawson’s Creek, where he was Doug Witter, and Blood Ties where he starred as as Detective Mike Celluci.
American hunk Frank Grillo starred as Hart Jessup in Guiding Light. Watch out for him in the second installment of Captain America (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) where he is cast as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones.
Gregory Harrison starred as as Dr. George Alonzo ‘Gonzo’ Gates on the CBS series Trapper John, M.D. from 1979 to 1985. His recent TV gigs include starring as Tim Arbogast on Ringers and as Ted Lomax on Psych.
