Original Post: Wall Street 2 – Money Never Sleeps (10 August 2009). Huh. We didn’t realize Shia LaBeouf is starring in the remake of Wall Street. They’re calling it Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. How predictable is that title? Kinda reminds us of Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction. Still, we hope the Wall Street remake does not suffer the fate of the Basic Instinct remake.

Anyhoo, Shia is probably the luckiest young actor in Hollywood as he’s been getting big projects left, right, and center.

Here’s an update on the casting of this movie courtesy of Broadway World: “Three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella is among the American theater world’s greatest living actors. Variety reports that Langella has joined the cast of the upcoming ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’. Shia LaBeouf stars alongside Michael Douglas, who’ll reprise his iconic role of Gordon Gekko. Josh Brolin is reportedly set for a role in the Allan Loeb-scripted drama as well.”
