Today in shirtless NFL footballers, we bring you Shawne Merriman, linebacker for the San Diego chargers, who’s posing in this photoshoot with his two dogs. Okay, we are not really sure whether these are his dogs.
Anyhoo, Shawne has been in the news lately after he was charged with battery and false imprisonment for allegedly choking and detaining his girlfriend Tila Tequila.
We don’t know what happened to his case but what we found most interesting about it is that Tila, a really teeny weeny petite girl, reportedly did a citizen’s arrest on Shawne who, as you can see in his pic, is a bulging muscle hunk of a man.
Did she go, “You are under arrest!!!!” and handcuff him? That would make her Teh Awesome in our book.

You want more bulge photos of American football players, don’t you? Since we’re all about giving you what you want, check out these footballers who, like Shawne Merriman above, are “gifted” in their nether regions:
Cortland Finnegan: Cortland is a defensive back for the Tennessee Titans which drafted him in 2006. Before he was picked by the Titans, he played College football for Samford University. He’s reportedly the first Samford player drafted since Gary Fleming was picked by the Baltimore Orioles in 1969.
Dez Bryant: Texas jock Desmond Demond “Dez” Bryant is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys which signed him in 2010 for the amoung of $12.05 million ($8.4 million guaranteed) for a period of five years. Before he was picked by the Dallas Cowboys, Dez played for Oklahoma State University.
Justin Tryon: Since 2010, Justin Deaon Tryon has been playing as cornerback for the Indianapolis Colts. Prior to that, he played for the Washington Redskins which picked him in the fourth round during the 2008 NFL draft.
Justin attended Arizona State University where he was also a track star. Clearly his package of talents is not limited to “cornerbacking”.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: Like Justin Tryon, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a football cornerback but he plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. Before he moved to Philadelphia he played for the Arizona Cardinals which picked him in the first round of the 2008 NFL draft.
